Priorities? Cold Beer for Colbert, truth sets you free

I began this as a reply, and then it became a rant-- to respectfully disagree with a post that questioned the importance of keeping Colbert on "most- emailed" lists-- (for example, a "most-emailed" list at the NYTimes). Indeed, where are our priorities?  

As you shall see, we pass the Colbert story around on netroots TO ADDRESS THE SHAMELESS MEDIA BLACKOUT IN THIS COUNTRY, OF INFORMATION THAT IS REAL, PRESCIENT, AND VITAL TO AMERICANS, AND IN FACT, THE WORLD.
